Dance Masters of America
Nina was tremendous help understating how the business and costumer service side of a dance studio works. Dance is a form of art but running a dance studio really comes down to running any other business at the end of the day. Nina is very passionate about what she does, has so many creative ideas but she is also great at keeping her calm when dealing with dance studio difficulties and dramas.
Nina took our kids back to the basics of counting & gave us unique ideas for making dancers all look alike in their routines! She demanded every part be perfect and really spent time going over the tiniest details. Our kids were inspired in a new way & our staff learned from her productive cleaning techniques. Each routine had new light & a new direction!
My high school students were so lucky to have Nina come in and speak to them about being an entrepreneur. All of my students are interested in working with children and families in the future, and with Nina’s experience owning a dance studio and being a children’s author I was hoping she would be the perfect inspiration for my students. Her presentation far surpassed my expectations. Nina is so incredibly in tune to this age group. Her honesty and passion for what she does, and her interest in helping others become successful is so apparent as she speaks. After Nina’s presentation I surveyed my classes and 100% of my students felt that the information she presented in regards to career and entrepreneurship was useful. They noted Nina’s passion, honesty and real life stories as the elements that made her time with us so valuable. I will definitely be asking Nina to come back to speak with future students. In a time where students are consumed with instant gratification, Nina’s presentation provides a reminder that hard work, training, patience, taking chances and believing in yourself are essential elements to a successful career.
